Fashion Mag Night 2024
It was on the top floor of the Théâtre du Gymnase, in the prestigious Salle le Marquis in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, that we invited our partners and the press to an exclusive evening of sharing, conviviality and discovery on Thursday 30 May 2024 from 7pm, for the new edition of the EIDM Fashion Mag Night.
A project by our second-year Bachelor students
As part of their annual projects, and following the fashion show in their first year, second-year Bachelor students set out to produce a fashion magazine from start to finish: defining the editorial line and the art direction, writing the articles, and handling layout and image research. On 30 May 2024, the evening was designed to present all the magazines created by our students to our partners and to the press, and above all to reward the two best magazines. Twenty magazines were in the running in total: Backstage, Endorphine, Freaky, Universe, N°Carbone, Persona, 12:17, Clout 9, Golden Narcissist, Kinisi, Summum, Crossover, Podiums, Cheers, 97, Era, Athleisure, Runway, Urban Tales, Craft Club.
On the programme for the 2024 Magazine evening
While the magazines were produced by our second-year Bachelor students, the launch evening was organised from start to finish by our first-year Bachelor students on the delayed intake. Their remit included finding the venue, choosing suppliers, managing the art direction, designing the invitations and handling the guest list, and working with influencers.
From 7pm on 30 June, guests were welcomed into the prestigious Salle le Marquis. On the programme: a presentation of the 21 magazines created by our students, analysis and critique from our outstanding jury, discussions with the various editorial teams, and prizes awarded to the jury's two favourite magazines. The magazines in the running were: Backstage, Endorphine, Freaky, Universe, N°Carbone, Persona, 12:17, Clout 9, Golden Narcissist, Kinisi, Summum, Crossover, Podiums, Cheers, 97, Era, Athleisure, Runway, Urban Tales, Craft Club. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a cocktail workshop, prizes to be won and a DJ set.
Congratulations to our delayed-intake students and their supervisor for organising the evening. A special mention goes to our second-year Bachelor students for their superb magazines, every one of which won the jury over. Many thanks too to our outstanding jury for their time and their presence.
