Our story

Why join EIDM?

Founded in 2008, EIDM does not train specialists in a single sector: it trains the future managers of the creative, fashion and luxury industries. Designing, developing and bringing a brand to life through career-focused programmes in which creativity, business, innovation, data and the guest experience all speak to one another.

Our project-based teaching puts students in real-world situations throughout their studies: staging a fashion show, producing a magazine, opening a pop-up store, work placements in industry. They do not simply follow a programme, they gradually build their portfolio, their network and their professional future.

A multidimensional, demanding and career-focused approach, which is why our students find a job in just a few months.

Our vision

Ranked among the world's 177 best business schools, EIDM comes in 79th and stands as the leading French fashion school in the global business school rankings.

“Companies are no longer looking for isolated specialists. They are looking for people who can connect creativity, business, data, AI, retail and the customer experience. EIDM therefore does not train experts in a single discipline, but professionals able to make those skills work together.”
Aline Meynard, Director of EIDM

This conviction shapes all of our programmes, from Bachelor to Master's. We do not train people for a sector, but in a way of thinking and acting: that of the managers who will grow tomorrow's creative brands, in fashion, luxury, retail, the customer experience and far beyond.

Our teaching approach

An innovative teaching approach

Through career-focused projects and masterclasses. Staging your own fashion show in the first year of the Bachelor's, creating a magazine in the second year, or opening and running a pop-up store from start to finish: that is the promise of EIDM through its “Learning by doing” approach.

International dimension of EIDM, school of fashion and luxury

A school with a firmly international outlook

With our 16 partner universities around the world, our programmes taught entirely in English and our seminars and study trips abroad, the international dimension has been an integral part of EIDM's DNA since the school was founded.

Compulsory work placement periods

Professional immersion accounts for a substantial part of the programmes offered by EIDM. Students can enrol on a work-study programme from the third year of the Bachelor onwards, and complete a total of 12 months of work placement across the Bachelor and the Master's.

Qualifications recognised in France and worldwide

Our Bachelor's and Master's courses award school qualifications at three- and five-year higher education level, with RNCP Level 6 qualifications for the Bachelor's programmes and Level 7 for the Master's programmes in image, styling, art direction, communication and marketing for fashion and luxury.

Professionals to train you

At EIDM, our lecturers are recognised professionals from the fashion and luxury management sector, either currently working in the field or drawn from senior management roles. Their hands-on expertise guarantees teaching that is concrete, current and directly applicable.

Selected for their expertise and their ability to pass on knowledge, they contribute to a demanding, career-focused approach. Through regular monitoring and continuous improvement, EIDM guarantees training that is aligned with market expectations and geared towards employability.
