Fashion Mag Night 2022
The Fashion Mag Night 2022 opened its doors at the prestigious Salon des Miroirs on Monday 16 May from 7pm. This magazine launch evening is organised by the students of the École Internationale de Mode & Luxe.

Every year, as part of their annual projects, our second-year Bachelor students set out to produce a complete fashion magazine from start to finish. On 16 May, the evening will showcase all of the magazines published and, above all, reward the very best creations. In all, around thirty magazines with widely differing styles, inspirations and worlds will be in the running.
What are the missions of our Fashion & Business Students in their second Bachelor year?
- Define an editorial line and a target audience in keeping with the theme of the year
- Build a genuine fashion editorial team within the group, giving each member a clearly defined role
- Draw up a flat plan
- Write the editorials, features, news items, an investigative piece and interviews, thinking through the hook, the closing line and the angle,
- Develop their network to put together and book a fashion styling team, calling on a photographer, a photo stylist, a make-up artist and models
- Lead the art direction of one or more editorial shoots
- Lay out the magazine in line with the flat plan
- Keep to the number of pages allocated
- Find a company to print the magazine
- Present their magazine to a panel of fashion professionals
For this end-of-year magazine project set for our second-year Bachelor students, EIDM brought in professionals working in fashion press newsrooms to give our students the best possible support throughout the creative process. Learning by Doing
Every year, EIDM students run a hands-on project: staging a fashion show, creating a magazine, opening a pop-up store, running an entrepreneurial venture, leading a team, and more.
