Study fashion and luxury at the EIDM Lille campus
Set in the innovative Fives Cail district, a regenerated former industrial site, the campus immerses students in a unique environment where heritage, modernity and design come together.
The ambitious metropolitan urban project at Fives Cail is now under way. A former industrial site with extraordinary architecture, this eco-district will ultimately be home to more than 1,200 homes enjoying a green, peaceful and lively setting. Other monumental halls, next door to the ESDAC school, will host cultural, sporting and creative activities. An ecosystem in tune with the school’s philosophy, focused on sustainability and creativity.

Culture and fashion
Lille has a unique identity in which cultural heritage and fashion are closely intertwined. Shaped by its Flemish past and its textile tradition, the city has built up over the centuries a rich culture marked by its architecture, its arts institutions and its industrial expertise. That textile heritage still shapes fashion in Lille today. Many former factories have been converted into cultural venues, showing how well the city can celebrate its heritage while embracing contemporary creation.
Fashion events in Lille: 48H Maisons de Mode, La Lille Fashion Night, fashion shows and fashion events (at the Palais de la Bourse and Lille Grand Palais). Museums and exhibitions: La Piscine – Musée d’art et d’industrie André Diligent in Roubaix, which holds major collections of textiles, fashion and design. Le Tripostal regularly hosts exhibitions combining contemporary creation, design, photography and fashion, such as Textimoov!
Student life
Lille is a city that blends historic architecture with modernity, offering a rich cultural life with museums, concerts, festivals and events all year round.
Students are especially fond of the city centre and the Vieux-Lille district for their cafés, restaurants, libraries and cultural venues. Green spaces and places to unwind also make for a pleasant setting to study or meet up with friends.
Lille also enjoys a strategic position in Europe, close to Paris, Brussels and London, which attracts many international students.
Getting around
Ideally located three metro stops from Gare Lille Flandres (Marbrerie stop), with a bus stop close by. The school continues to build on its partnerships across a region now firmly focused on design and open to the world.
