Easy financing with payment in instalments
EIDM offers a range of financing facilities, including the possibility of paying tuition fees (depending on the course) in 1, 3 or 6 instalments.
BPI France loans
If no-one can vouch for you, you have the option of a BPI France loan. This means that the government opens a budget envelope (in June each year) and stands surety for students.
What are the eligibility criteria?
Firstly, students must be under the age of 28. Secondly, you must be a French national or a citizen of the European Union. Finally, the degree must be from a French higher education institution.
What are the features of the loan?
Firstly, there is no personal guarantee and no means test. However, this is not the only advantageous feature of the loan:
No parental or third-party guarantee
Maximum amount: €15,000
Minimum term: 2 years.
Please note that if the budget is reached, the loan will no longer be available, even if the student is eligible.
Work experience & sandwich courses
Available for 1st and 2nd year Master’s programmes, the work-linked training scheme (contrat de professionnalisation) means that tuition fees are fully covered by the company.
Professional retraining
There are a number of organisations that can help you finance your fashion studies.
- Transition Pro: this organisation offers to finance 1 year of training. You need to contact the organisation and put together an application, which may or may not be accepted.
- Pôle Emploi: contact your local employment office to tell them about the fashion school course you would like to take and then put together an application with them to find out if you are eligible.
